North Point

North Point used to be a nice neighborhood, one of the most desirable addresses in the city; in the 60s, all that changed. Driven by a spike in drug trafficking and the emergence of a seemingly endless wave of designer narcotics, the neighborhood spiraled downward in a sharp decline. The community was written off as beyond hope with the 1976 murder and robbery of Thomas and Martha Wayne; an event which shocked the good people of Gotham and sent them in flight from North Point. Today it is a cesspit; easily the most dangerous neighborhood in the city and the name Park Row, the center of the community and site of the Wayne murders, has become synonymous with the worst of life in American cities. Even officers of the GCPD are reluctant to enter the neighborhood in small numbers.
